What this service covers
Website migration is rarely as simple as copying files. Email continuity, DNS propagation, database integrity, and live traffic handling all need to align, so a single missed step can take a site down for hours. The Website Migration Service moves your site to a new hosting provider end to end, with zero downtime during the cutover window.
The work covers five layers. Files (web root, media, uploads, themes, plugins) are transferred with checksum verification. Databases are exported, transferred, and reimported with post-import integrity checks. Email accounts are recreated on the new host, mailbox contents migrated, and MX records planned for the cutover. DNS cutover is staged so TTLs are lowered ahead of the switch, which reduces propagation risk. Post-migration testing confirms all URLs, forms, email delivery, and payment endpoints work on the new host before we declare handover.
Your existing site stays live on the old host until the cutover is confirmed on the new one, so visitors and transactions are not interrupted. The timing window is agreed with you in advance, and you get a migration log detailing what moved, what changed, and any items that need your attention.
This service applies to WordPress, WooCommerce, custom PHP stacks, and static HTML sites. Sites with complex infrastructure (multi-server, CDN origin, custom email routing) are in scope but may need a scoping call before work starts. Priced per site, one time.

Yes. The handover log detailing what moved, what changed, and any flagged items is confidential and only shared with you, never third parties.
- Scope and inclusions. This service covers a one time migration of a single website, including files, database, up to 25 email accounts, DNS cutover, and post migration verification as described in the Specifications section. Additional mailboxes, sites, or post migration development work are billed separately.
- Access and credentials. You must provide working admin access to the source hosting account and the destination hosting account, including control panel logins, DNS registrar credentials where DNS is managed externally, and FTP or SSH access where required. Delays caused by missing or invalid credentials do not extend the SLA.
- Cutover window. The cutover is scheduled with you in advance. You are expected to confirm the window at least 24 hours ahead so TTLs can be lowered. Rescheduling inside the 24 hour window is accommodated on a best effort basis only.
- Refund eligibility. Refunds are available only if the migration cannot technically be completed due to a platform limitation that was not disclosable at the point of sale, and only for work not yet started. Once file transfer begins, the engagement is non refundable.
- Backups and rollback. A full backup of the source site is taken before cutover. In the event of an irrecoverable issue on the destination, DNS is reverted to the original host at no extra cost. Rollback is guaranteed for 48 hours after cutover.
- Confidentiality. All credentials shared are stored in our encrypted credential vault, used only for the migration, and removed after handover unless you opt into ongoing maintenance.
- Client responsibilities. You are responsible for licence transferability for premium themes, plugins, or third party software that is tied to the original host or IP. You are also responsible for communicating the cutover to end users where a short propagation window applies.
- Breach handling. Any discovered malware, backdoors, or security issues on the source site are flagged to you before cutover. Remediation is quoted separately and not bundled into this service.
