In WordPress, you have options to create educational and informational content known as blogs. You can create a blog right inside the admin dashboard. So let’s know, in a stepwise manner, how you can create your first blog post on WordPress.

1. First, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Then go to posts and click on Add new.
   
   
   
   
3. Then the Add new posts window will open. Here give a title to your post and write the contents in the editor box.
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the ‘+’ sign and add things that are required in your blog post. You can add various things to your blog post. Search for the option in the search box that you want to add. For example, you can add images, paragraphs, etc.
   
   
   
   
5. After you have finished your writing, click on the Category section to give your post a category.
   
   

New categories can be added by clicking on the add category button.

6. Click on the tags option to add tags to your blog post.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on the featured image option to set a featured image for your blog post.
   
   

8. Click on the Preview button to preview your post. Once you are satisfied with your post click on Publish button.
