We upgrade your Angular application to the latest version on a separate staging site, fix what breaks, and go live only after your written approval. Your server must support the new version.
A one-time upgrade of your Angular application to the latest version, done on a staging site one major version at a time, quoted per project and deployed live only after your approval.
Running an old Angular version means no security fixes, growing build problems, and libraries that stop working. Angular does not allow skipping major versions, so an application on version 13 or 15 must move through every release in between. Each step can break dependencies, builds, screens or runtime behaviour.
This service does that work for you. We copy your application to a separate staging environment, take backups, and upgrade one major version at a time. At each step we fix compilation, dependency, layout and runtime issues and test the full application before moving on. Your live site is not touched.
When the final version works, you review the staged site and approve it in writing. Only then do we back up the live application, deploy, and run smoke tests on the features that matter, such as API connections, forms, file uploads and your main modules.
Every project is quoted, because the work depends on how far your application has to travel. The main factor is the number of major Angular versions between your current version and the target.
Newer Angular versions need more resources to install, build and test. Your server must meet at least 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM and support the Node.js version the target release needs. We check this first. If the server falls short, it must be upgraded before work begins, and that cost is billed separately from this service.
Every upgrade step is done away from your live site.
Each major release is upgraded, fixed and tested in order.
Price agreed in writing first, deployment after your sign-off.
Tell us your website URL, your current and target Angular version, and your server details. Ask for a quote and we get back to you.
You share the source code securely. We review it, confirm your server supports the target version, and send a fixed written quote with the steps, rate and any extras.
After you accept, we set up staging, take backups, and upgrade one major version at a time, fixing and testing the full application at every step.
You test the upgraded staging site. We fix the agreed issues, and you approve the final version in writing.
We back up your live application, deploy the approved build, and smoke test your API connections, forms, uploads and main modules.
Yes. After we review your code and server, you receive a written quote listing the number of steps, the rate applied and any additional work found. Once you accept it, the price is fixed for the agreed scope. It changes only if you ask for extra work, which we quote separately before doing it.
Your website URL, your current Angular version, the version you want to reach, and your server details such as CPU, memory and hosting provider. Please share passwords only through the secure channel we send, never in the request message.
No. All work is done on a separate staging environment. Your live application is changed only after you review the staged version and approve it in writing. We back it up first.
It depends. Newer Angular versions need more resources to install, build and test. At minimum your server should have 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and a supported Node.js version. We check this first. If your server falls short, it must be upgraded before work begins.
No. This service covers the application upgrade only. Server and hosting costs are billed by your hosting provider, or invoiced by us at actual cost if we manage your hosting.
We upgrade Angular applications to the latest stable version. Tell us your current version in your quote request and we confirm the number of steps. Applications on very old versions are welcome, and the quote reflects the extra steps involved.
No. The upgrade covers your existing functionality only. New features, redesign and content changes are quoted separately. We can help through our web development services.
Most upgrades of 7 to 9 steps take around 1 to 2 weeks from the day we receive your accepted quote, source code and access. Fewer steps are faster. Timing also depends on how quickly you review and approve the staged version.
Some third-party packages have no release for newer Angular versions. We tell you after the code review, and any extra work to replace or rework them is listed in your written quote before you accept. You are never charged for it without agreeing first.
